Vivo had a busy April, with the launch of two new smartphones, the Vivo iQOO Neo 3 and Vivo Y50. The Neo 3 is dedicated to gamers and is the cheapest in the market to bring 144Hz screen. The Y50, on the other hand, seeks to be cost-effective by bringing balanced specifications at a relatively low price.
However, as new leaks claim, the company is nearing to launch a new G-series in May. In a post on the Chinese social network Weibo, the leaker Digital Chat Station revealed details of Vivo G1, the first member of the Vivo’s new G family.
It is not yet known what the new device’s market positioning will be, but its specifications are in line with Vivo S6, which received the new Streamer Secret color this month. There is nothing much to comment on the new device.
Vivo G1 Expected Specifications
However, rumors are indicating that the Vivo G1 should be equipped with Exynos 980 processor, 6.44-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, 32MP front camera housed in a waterdrop-shaped notch, set of four rear cameras of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP and 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
So let’s wait for the month of May to see what Vivo has to bring.
