After the launch of Poco F2 Pro, we may see a new smartphone arriving soon in the Indian market, the Poco M2 Pro. The launch seems near as the handset recently got two certifications – Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance.
We’re saying it’s a mid-range phone because recently a few specs surface online as reported by Tech Carving. According to the Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance documentation, the Poco M2 Pro has the numbering M2003J6CI and carries the nomenclature “gram”.
Despite gaining two major certifications, regulatory agencies have not revealed the handset’s main specifications. The only details available are that it has Bluetooth 5.0, runs Android 10 under MIUI 11, and has dual-band WiFi.
The most interesting point of the certifications is that the device carries the same nomenclature as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. This indicates that the M2 Pro is just a Redmi device renamed to the Poco portfolio.
For now, there is still no date for the official launch of the Poco M2 Pro. Anyway, we could see the device coming out of the box featuring Snapdragon 720G processor, four rear cameras, and a 5,020 mAh battery.
