Mid-Range OnePlus Phone and Wireless Headset May Launch at January Event

Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus has started sending out invites for a special event scheduled to take place from January 7-10. It’s exactly the same time as one of the biggest tech fairs of the year: the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. We might see a mid-range OnePlus phone and a Wireless Headset at the launch.

You can see below, the invitation which only shows the brand’s logo and the words “OnePlus Special Event”. You can also see the scheduled date and a gradient background between black, orange and white. Right now, no one knows exactly what OnePlus will announce in the event. But we can rely on rumors and clues to know what the company would be planning.

Earlier this week the leaker Max J. revealed on his Twitter account a concept design of an audio device that contained the words “Relax, Workout, Listen without cords on your way, call, learn,”. It clearly suggests the launch of a wireless headset to compete in this growing wireless headset market.

We’ve already seen the render of a mid-range OnePlus phone which might be called the OnePlus 8 Lite. It predicts the possible final design of the OnePlus budget smartphone since the launch of OnePlus X in 2015.

The device would come with two rear cameras in a rectangular module. the company may house the front camera under the display (punch-hole design). But let’s wait for the event to see what OnePlus brings.
