Finally after announcing to all when the new Huawei Mate X will be marketed, Huawei officially returns to talk about 5G but not in the way we are used to. In this case, it does so by presenting two extremely special products: the Huawei 5G Mobile WiFi and Huawei 5G Mobile WiFi Pro.
What is it? Both models are small Wi-Fi modems compatible with the new generation 5G networks. What they do is allow smartphones without a 5G modem to connect to 5G networks. Both models incorporate a Balong 5000 modem with support for the NSA and SA networks, thus guaranteeing a theoretical maximum speed of well 1.65 Gbps via USB Type-C cable or 867 Mbps via Wi-Fi module.
However, Huawei wanted to give the product dual usefulness by also integrating a battery to recharge the smartphone. The 5G Mobile WiFi model has a built-in 4000 mAh battery while the 5G Mobile WiFi Pro features an 8000 mAh battery with wireless charging support.
There are also different colors that are ceramic white for the 5G Mobile WiFi and ceramic white/elegant black for the 5G Mobile WiFi Pro variant. Unfortunately, we do not have precise information regarding the sale price, but we know that they will be marketed in December starting from the Chinese market.
