If you are writing a post and you want to find and select a GIF, select the three-dot menu button under the text field and you’ll see the GIF option listed below. As you click on the GIF button, a search box will appear where you can search for the GIF you want to use using relevant keywords. For example, if you wanted to find the Jerry Slapping GIF, just search “Jerry Slapping” and look through the top results.
If you want to send a GIF in a comment or message, it’s even easier. When you write a comment, you’ll see the GIF button will be located on the right side of the text field. The button is always located directly under the place you type messages in messenger.
How to post any GIF you found or saved?
Sometimes it’s become hard to find any specific GIF file in the Facebook library or sometimes you’d like to make a GIF out of a video you found online. To-do there are a couple of options, if you have seen that particular GIF somewhere on the internet before, you can search it on google maybe you’ll find it or there’s a good chance it’s in Giphy. It doesn’t have that strong GIF creation tool but you can find almost any GIF you want.
There is a question that if you can’t find it GIF you want anywhere, or if you want to make one with any video you have saved online or recorded. There are several ways to do this, first, you can download any third-party GIF creation application on your device, and second, you can head over to any online GIF creation site such as Kapwing.com.

For example, if you use kapwing.com to turn any video clip into GIF. Go to the Video converter in the Tools tab and you’ll be able to see paste a video link or upload a video from your computer and select Export as GIF from the conversion menu in the top right corner.
Once the video is uploaded, now you have to trim the part you want to use as a GIF. After trimming click Export GIF and download your GIF in just a few seconds.
