Just over a week after releasing the third trial version of iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2, and exactly one week after the arrival of macOS Catalina Beta 2, Apple has released the macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Beta 3 and is now available for download to developers.
Comes with build 19B86a, the new beta update has the expected bug fixes and improvements over the beta 2 platform and brings some new features as well. These include, for example, the inclusion of new emojis and extra privacy options for Siri.
MacOS 10.15 has hit the market full of new features, including Apple Arcade, the Sidecar feature to turn iPad into a secondary display, and new applications for Music, Apple Podcasts and videos, “breaking up” the late iTunes.
Using the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility you can download the latest beta version of macOS. As new betas become available, users will receive a notification and may install them through the Software Update menu within the System Preferences app.
Here is the changelog:
- Fixed an issue where Safari might stop responding when attempting to use Apple Pay on the Web. (56261377)
- Support has been added for the AMD Navi RDNA architecture.
- You can now filter by Favorites, Edited, Photos, Videos or Keywords in the new All Photos view. (45589765)
- You can now choose View > Metadata > Titles to enable titles and filenames in the new All Photos view. (48363059)
It is noteworthy that macOS 10.15.1 is still in the testing phase, so we do not advise installing it on your main machine, as it may have instability and lack of compatibility with various apps and services.
