Since the announcement of its final release, Android 10 has been steadily expanding its presence in the smartphone market either through the availability of Google’s partner manufacturers or the offering of independently designed custom ROMs by the enthusiast community. One of the manufacturers that did not say anything regarding the availability of the latest Android version was Sony.
However, it appears that the list of Xperia devices that will receive this update already exists, and at least for devices offered by the Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo, a list of 7 devices has been confirmed that’ll receive the Android 10 update. Among the handsets, the Xperia XZ1 has been omitted, but the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact included among others.
A point that also draws attention on the list is that it reveals only one mid-range handset benefited from the update, the Sony Xperia Ace that was presented in May exclusively to the DoCoMo operator.
